Meet Mary Round
Mary Round is the performer in our workshop of Baby Jessica's Well-Made Play, the fourth play of SMALL PLAYS FOR GIANTS. She's amazing and we're so excited to share her thoughts on art with you!

What's your favorite part of working on a new show?
Collaborating with other artists.
When has art helped you overcome something in your life?
Art has helped me overcome everything in my life that has been a challenge.
What are some what-ifs you're following or hope to follow soon?
No what-ifs - I keep telling myself that I am a pacifist.
What if my singing gets good enough and I am asked to front a band - even though I am a woman of indeterminate age? Can I rock? YES! Can I sing? Sort of.
What other artists inspire you?
I love David Cale and he inspires me to be myself.
I love Betty White - she is still working & she is funny as hell!
What projects do you have coming up next?
I have a singing recital this weekend where I am performing my first duet with Leigh Montanye of John Prine’s Angel from Montgomery. I have a small but noteworthy part in the independent film, Equal Standard,
that will complete shooting in July and be released in 2019.
