Meet Una Clancy

Una Clancy plays Mary in The Jester And The Dragon. We asked her a couple questions to get to know her better.

What's your favorite part of working on a new show?

Being constantly surprised at watching black and white print become a living, breathing people.

When has art helped you overcome something in your life?

Art has picked me up and transported me to places that I didn’t know, or that I desperately needed to visit. It often reminds me that the well of human experience is so deep, and shared by us all.

What are some what-ifs you're following or hope to follow soon?

What if I truly looked on my life as chapters in a book, and made the leap to begin a new one !

What other artists inspire you?

Cillian Murphy currently. He is knocking my socks off with his commitment to the character of Tommy in Peaky Blinders.

What projects do you have coming up next?

My next gig will be an evening of Irish ballads and Ireland -inspired poetry and Jazz night in the end of the month. I’m looking forward to harmonizing - one of my favorite things to do.

She happily played in The Drilling Company's 2017 season : ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL (The Widow), and HENRY VI Part 3 (Mother Who Kills Her Son).
